Program Schedule

In order to better accommodate the needs of our students, we offer an evening program. During the first year, students attend evening classes twice a week. The following year, students begin their internship phase and attend four weekend seminars.

Two Year Program: Sept. 2012 through May 2014; Evening Academic Phase and Internship

YEAR 1: Academic Phase Begins: Lecture/Course Work = 320 hours

Evening classes: Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00-9:00 p.m. (September through June excluding holiday and vacation days. 192 hours are completed during the first year)

YEAR 2: Internship phase: Student teaching in an approved Montessori School = 640 hours

Four weekend seminars- June, October, January and April; 30 hours of field observations (Seminars and field observations complete the required 320 hours)
