Our School

The Montessori School is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors that serves over 400 students annually and counts its alumni in the thousands. It is supported by tuition income as well as charitable gifts. Montessori schools are found in over fifty countries throughout the world, reflecting their universal appeal. Consequently, our curriculum reflects not only the universal developmental needs of children, but also the cultural diversity of humankind. Minority children comprise about 30 percent of The Montessori School's total enrollment. We welcome all students regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender or disability.

Our Campus

The main campus is located on seven acres of land in Lutherville, Maryland. Classrooms and administrative offices are housed in a picturesque, renovated dairy farm and estate called "Emerson Farm". A satellite classroom is located in Towson.
